One of the trading cards I didn’t expect to pull from the 2020/21 Panini Mosaic collection was an autograph from Raul Jimenez. The Wolverhampton Wanderers striker has been a fixture of the Premier League side since 2018. It seems like forever ago that he played in LaLiga. But later after finding the card, memories flooded back from his side at Atletico Madrid from as late as 2015.

Six years is a long time in a professional footballer’s career, but if it wasn’t for Atleti signing Jimenez in 2014 from Club América, Jimenez may never have found his way to the Premier League.

Other than Jimenez, there are plenty of other cards featured in the video below including Lionel Messi, Rodrygo, Iñaki Williams and others.

In a box of the Panini Mosaic for LaLiga, there’s on average one autograph per box. In the 100-card set, there are 15 Mosaic parallels and five Silver parallels.
