Belarusian Premier League streaming live games on YouTube for free

Yes, soccer fans. There is still live soccer being played, and it’s now available for viewing in the United States.

For fans craving the ability to watch live soccer games, the Belarusian Football Federation has begun streaming live matches from the Belarusian Premier League on YouTube. Previously, the games livestreamed via the league’s website were geo-blocked for viewers from the United States, but the games are now being livestreamed via the official Belarusian Football Federation YouTube account.

On Sunday morning, viewers were treated to a game between Minsk and BATE Borisov in front of a stadium featuring hundreds of fans. Social distancing was not being displayed around the stadium in a country that has reported 26 deaths as a result of COVID-19 and more than 2,000 confirmed cases.

Other games happening on Easter Sunday include:

• 10AM ET — Smolevichi – Shakhter
• Noon ET — Dynamo-Brest – Isloch

Plus, Monday will feature Slavia against Mozyr–Rukh at 10:20AM ET.

Featuring the most high-profile team from Belarus, BATE Borisov is one of sixteen teams competing in the 2020/21 season of the Belarusian Premier League. Currently playing matchday 4, Dinamo Brest are the current champions.

The Belarussian Premier League is one of only a handful of professional leagues that are continuing to play through the coronavirus pandemic. Other leagues include the Tajikistan Football League and Liga Primera de Nicaragua.
