In my experience of dealing with the convergence of soccer and streaming over the past decade, I’ve seen first-hand how confusing and overwhelming all of the choices are for which streaming services offer what. The added complexity on top of that is that the streaming services keep on changing the channels they offer to consumer — oftentimes adding several new ones, while removing others. It’s hard to keep up.

Seeing how complex the options were, I decided to make a difference. In 2019, I quietly launched a website in beta called Compare Streaming. During the last nine months, I spent a lot of my free time finalizing the site. Now with so many of us now in lockdown and watching more streaming than ever before, it’s time to move the website out of beta and to officially launch it to the public.

Compare Streaming offers a regularly updated blog that includes movie recommendations, tips on how to take advantage of free trials, what TV shows we’re enjoying that you may like, as well as reviews of streaming devices that will help you cut the cord. Our goal is to make it easier for you to find shows and movies to binge.

Plus, we feature an easy-to-use tool where you can pick your favorite channels to see which streaming service is the best fit for you.

Have no fear, World Soccer Talk’s daily coverage of the Beautiful Game will continue uninterrupted. We’re continuing to publish original content as well as producing our weekly podcasts. And as soon as the soccer coverage returns, we look forward to updating the TV schedules.

But with many of us stuck at home and the lack of live sports being played, our viewing habits have changed. Whether you’re looking for movie recommendations, a new series to watch on television or the best streaming service that includes the channels you want to watch, I’d appreciate it if you could check Compare Streaming out as well as following Compare Streaming on Twitter.

Stay safe and healthy. Cheers!
