The 2019 Women’s World Cup airs across the FOX Sports and Telemundo family of networks from June 7 to July 7, 2019.

In English-language, FOX presents coverage live from Paris’ iconic Place du Trocadéro on its television and digital platforms. Legendary broadcaster JP Dellacamera and former U.S. Women’s National Team midfielder and two-time Olympic gold medalist Aly Wagner lead FOX Sports’ world-class broadcast team for the 2019 tournament. All 52 matches air live, including 22 on broadcast television – more than any FIFA Women’s World Cup ever – and 27 on FS1.

In Spanish-language, all 52 matches will air live across Telemundo, Universo and Telemundo Deportes digital platforms, beginning with the opening match live from Paris on June 7. Telemundo Deportes will offer the biggest multimedia coverage in Spanish-language media history with more matches on linear television than ever before, streaming of all matches, and extensive coverage on digital and social media.

Telemundo Deportes’ renowned team of commentators, led by the voice of soccer in America and five-time Emmy award winner, Andrés Cantor will be part of the coverage, with Ana Jurka serving as the main host of the event in Paris. Coverage will also include the return of Viviana Vila to Telemundo after making history this past summer, as the first women to ever provide match commentary for a FIFA Men’s World Cup in Spanish. In addition, the network’s soccer experts Miguel Gurwitz, Carlos Hermosillo, Sammy Sadovnik, Copan Alvarez and Manuel Sol will participate in the coverage. Telemundo Deportes’ on-air team will be supplemented by a renowned group of iconic women’s soccer personalities to be announced in the near future.

Telemundo will be covering all angles of the event with a dedicated production team based in Paris and a host position featuring views from the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Select matches, including the opening match, semi-finals and Final will be produced onsite with commentators calling the action from the respective stadiums. Telemundo will also have dedicated crews following the teams with special emphasis on the U.S. Women’s National Team.

To complement the live action coverage with analysis and the latest news around the event, Telemundo Deportes’ game broadcasts will feature analysis and preview prior to kickoff of each and every match. The day will wrap up with a special, extended 60-minute edition of Titulares y Más, Telemundo’s late-night sports and entertainment show that will air in its extended format throughout the duration of the tournament. The show will highlight the best of the day and the main storylines ahead of the next series of matches.

In addition, Telemundo Deportes will present three special 60-minute shows: On Opening Day, June 7, the commentary team will preview the tournament and share the best storylines to follow; on July 7, there will be an extended preview of the Final Match; and a special show highlighting the trophy presentation.

FOX Sports, meanwhile, had this to say about the English-language TV coverage in the United States:

“Given the caliber of the event, we named Aly, a trailblazer in the industry, and renowned announcer JP to lead our expansive coverage,” said FOX Executive Producer David Neal. “Our programming schedule reflects the scale of the FIFA Women’s World Cup and our commitment to it following our unprecedented coverage of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.”

Dellacamera has covered 14 FIFA World Cups (nine men’s, five women’s) on TV and radio, while this summer’s tournament will be Wagner’s third (two women’s, one men’s) as a broadcaster. During last summer’s 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, Wagner made U.S. English-language television history as the first woman to call a men’s FIFA World Cup.

FOX Sports offers more than 800 hours of coverage across linear and digital, including two daily studio shows – FIFA Women’s World Cup Live and FIFA Women’s World Cup Today – live from Place du Trocadéro in Paris. FOX’s set is located within the famed Palais Chaillot at Café de l’Homme, offering the iconic Eiffel Tower as a visual backdrop. Late night TV studio coverage originates from FOX Studios in Los Angeles with FOX Soccer Tonight, wrapping up the biggest FIFA Women’s World Cup and CONCACAF Gold Cup headlines.

This will be the eighth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The tournament will be played across nine cities: Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris, Reims, Rennes, and Valenciennes.
