EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool Football Club will play Borussia Dortmund this July in Nashville, Tennessee in a friendly match that will see the return of Jürgen Klopp to face his old Bundesliga club, according to a World Soccer Talk source.

The match, scheduled to be part of the 2018 International Champions Cup, will be played on Sunday, July 22. The venue hasn’t been finalized, but presumably Nissan Stadium will be the location.

Since the match hasn’t been officially announced yet, ticket details have not been shared. But as soon as ticket details are revealed, we’ll update the schedule of soccer friendlies in the US.

Last July, Nashville hosted Manchester City against Spurs in an International Champions Cup game that was attended by more than 56,000 fans.

In addition to facing Dortmund, Liverpool will play Manchester City in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday, July 25 in New York City. More tour dates for Liverpool will be announced in the next two weeks.

In the meantime, Borussia Dortmund will play several friendlies this summer in the United States against LAFC (May 22), Manchester City (July 20 in Chicago), Liverpool (July 22 in Nashville) and Tottenham Hotspur (July 25 in Pittsburgh).
