The rumor about Liverpool v Man Utd in Ann Arbor is taking off, sure hope that it comes to fruition! It’s a couple of weeks after the World Cup so there will be plenty of first team players involved looking to get match fit for the new season.

So much hype to see the reserves play…. Might as well see USL and NASL games

Actually, that’s not true. These are exhibition matches, so the best players do play. I travel to watch International Champions Cup matches whenever the team I support, Chelsea, is involved in the tournament. I’ve seen Chelsea play Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris-Saint Germain, for example, through the ICC. I’ve seen Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovich, and other big-name footballers. Messi wasn’t available when Chelsea played Barcelona in 2016, so I haven’t seen him. But I don’t care. We beat Barcelona that day!
