FA Cup TV schedule for US viewers: 3rd Round; January 5-8

The FA Cup TV schedule for viewers in the United States has been finalized. And, as in previous years, most of the supporters will be disappointed by the lack of TV and streaming coverage that’s available. Out of the 32 games scheduled, only 31% will be shown on television. Or, to look at it another different way, approximately 69% of fans who support teams that play in the FA Cup will be disappointed to find out that their club’s game isn’t being televised or streamed anywhere.

But before you start sending missives to FOX Sports, it’s not their fault. Under the current FA Cup TV rights contract (the last year under the current term), FOX Sports shows as many games that are available. The vast majority aren’t televised live anywhere around the world.

Here are the FA Cup games that will be televised in the United States (Eastern Time Zone):

For the 1st time that I can remember, the ‘regular’ Sportsnet channels will be showing some FA Cup games in Canada and not the premium Sportsnet World channel.
