Paris (AFP) – Marcelo Bielsa suffered a second straight loss as Lille coach on Sunday as his side crashed to a disappointing 2-0 home defeat against Caen.

The Argentine’s tenure began promisingly with an opening 3-0 win over Claudio Ranieri’s Nantes, but Lille then slumped to a chaotic 3-0 loss away to newly-promoted Strasbourg as three different players went in goal.

Lille fell behind after just five minutes against Caen when Damien Da Silva’s header from a corner crept in at the near post.

Ivan Santini forced in a second from close range on 69 minutes after latching onto Ronny Rodelin’s angled header to secure Caen their first points of the campaign — and just a second league victory since February.

Marseille extended their unbeaten league run to 14 matches but were frustrated by Angers in a 1-1 draw at the Stade Velodrome.

Clinton Njie’s clever finish gave the hosts a 17th-minute lead, but Karl Toko Ekambi snatched a point for Angers with a crisp drive from the edge of the area on 70 minutes.

Marseille finished a man down as Lucas Ocampos was dismissed for a wild lunge on Romain Thomas in stoppage time as Rudi Garcia’s team dropped their first points this term.

Radamel Falcao struck his fifth goal in three games on Friday to guide Monaco to a 1-0 win at Metz, while Saint-Etienne brushed aside newcomers Amiens 3-0 to join the French champions on nine points.

Neymar is set to make his home debut for Paris Saint-Germain later on Sunday against Toulouse following his world record 222 million-euro move from Barcelona.
