Q: What’s the catch? Why is it free?
A: There’s no catch. go90 is 100% ad-supported (the advertising isn’t overdone or obnoxious like on some other apps), meaning there are no fees or subscriptions needed. If you use go90 on your Wi-Fi, you won’t use up your data plan by watching your favorite soccer teams/leagues. For Verizon Wireless customers, it’s even better. The streaming content won’t count against your Verizon Wireless data plan. But again, even if you’re not a Verizon Wireless customer, you can still use go90 to watch your favorites teams or leagues.
One of the ways that Verizon Wireless is able to bring you soccer games via go90 for free is by including advertising on the app. But once you’ve used the app, you’ll see that the advertising isn’t overdone or obnoxious like on some other apps.
Q: Do I need to register to set up an account?
A: No, just fire up the app and go!
Q: Where can I get more info about soccer on go90?
A: Visit https://shows.go90.com/soccer/.
I was actually surprised that this app wasn’t brought up earlier by this site. I found out about it when I got my new iPhone7 from Verizon. I’ve been really impressed with it since there wasn’t a good way to watch beIN’s matches on your iPhone or iPad. I could watch the EPL and Bundesliga/Champions League/Europa League matches through the NBC Sports App as well as Fox Sports GO. (I subscribe to DirecTV.) I’ve wanted to watch La Liga and The English Championship on my mobile device, and now I can!
Why are go90 games never listed on the WST soccer schedules? What is better than free and legal?
We list them on the homepage.
Unfortunately, we’re often unable to find the go90 listings for other games on their website, so it makes it harder to know what they’re showing.
