Champions League games on US TV and streaming this week

champions-league

All 16 matches in the UEFA Champions League will be televised live to soccer fans in the United States. Several of the matches promise glamorous matches featuring Celtic against Barcelona, Real Madrid vs. Sporting Lisbon, PSG versus Arsenal and Spurs against Monaco. But no matter which matches you’re most interested in watching, we have all of the details for you below so you know where, when and how to make sure you don’t miss a minute of the action.

Interestingly, ESPN is taking more of an integral role in featuring Champions League games this season. Several of the games this week will be featured across ESPN3. Either FOX Sports sub-licensed some of the games to ESPN, or FOX Sports and ESPN made an arrangement to share the rights to games to the benefit of each broadcaster.

Over on FOX Sports, meanwhile, the coverage on Tuesday looks impressive but there’s no Champions League game on FOX Sports 1 Wednesday. Why? FS1 is broadcasting golf’s U.S. mid-amateur semifinals instead.

Here’s the schedule of UEFA Champions League games on US TV and streaming this week:

Hilarity that the Leicester City match isnt even on a network and you have to pay to watch it. Im sorry but FOXs soccer coverage is a joke.

Fox needs to offer free online channels like all the other Sports channels, NBCSN, beIN and ESPN, so all the games can be available to viewers in one place. Foxsoccer2go is a joke and you have to pay for it too.

They need to roll it up into FoxSportsGo.

Pretty sure Fox is only keeping the matches that will get the most ratings, hence Real Madrid, Barcelona, many of the English clubs always appearing there. I’ll go out on a limb and say that for Champions League matches, potential ratings outweigh any existing relationship between networks and the leagues they cover.

You would think Fox would want to pump the Bundesliga matches seeming as they carry the league. The Dortmund and Leverkusen games on ESPN3 and Bayern on ESPN2.
