FOX Sports unveils new studio set for Bundesliga coverage

FOX Sports has unveiled a brand-new set for its coverage of the 2016/17 Bundesliga season.

The new set premiered on Friday’s coverage of Schalke vs. Bayern Munich. With Ian Joy, Eric Wynalda and Jovan Kirovski as talent, they were seated in a cozy set that’s more appealing to the eye.

FOX’s Bundesliga set is designed as a German pub complete with German beer posters on the wall as well as German beer steins and a German flag.

While the new set is a breath of fresh air from the artificial uninspiring regular studio set they use, it is quite reminiscent of the old set that FOX Sports used when Christian Miles hosted several shows including Goals On Sunday and FOX Soccer Match Day (see screengrabs below).

It’s something. Now if FOX is going to show games on a consistent basis then everything should be fine.

Yes it does look like a recycled FSC set. All that’s missing is the fake bartender they used to have
