Where to find England vs. Russia on US TV and streaming

If you’re trying to find out how you can watch England vs. Russia in Euro 2016, you’ve come to the right place.

After a disastrous World Cup 2014, England are back with hopes of putting in a decent performance in the tournament given their new, younger players that should inject some pace and unpredictability into the side. Russia, meanwhile, have been a shambles since Fabio Capello left, and will want to put in an impressive performance given that they’ll be hosting World Cup 2018 just a couple of years away.

Here are all of the details of where you can watch it on television and via legal streaming:

Who: England vs. Russia
What: Euro 2016, Group B
When: Game kicks off at 3pm ET / Noon PT; Saturday, June 11, 2016
Where: Live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, WatchESPN, Sling Latino and Sling TV (free trial)

If you live outside the United States, you can watch Sling TV via a VPN service (many offer a free trial).

With Sling TV, you can watch the England vs. Russia and other Euro 2016 games with a free 7-day trial. With the legal streaming service, you can watch the game on your computer, smartphone, tablet, Roku or hook it up with your smart TV or Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire.

Plus Sling TV, the legal streaming service also includes beIN SPORTS (La Liga, Serie A, World Cup qualifiers), Univision Deportes (Liga MX, MLS, World Cup) as well as ESPN, ESPN2 plus tons of entertainment channels.

The Sling TV app is available for Windows 7 & higher, Apple computers (Lion 10.7 & higher) Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Fire tablet (running Android 4.4.2+), Roku, Android TV, ZTE, Channel Master, Apple iOS 8 (& higher) phones & tablets, Android 4.0.3 (and higher) phones & tablets and Xbox One.

Is that a glint of positivity emanating from the England cap? After a few years of self-loathing following the demise of the ill-fated golden generation, a squad refreshed by some new faces and young stars will head to France.

Hodgson’s team won all 10 of their qualifying matches, an achievement which many shrugged their shoulders at due to the calibre of opponent. Even so, getting into a winning habit can only be positive and the 3-2 win in a recent friendly in Germany—a game in which England were 2-0 down at one stage—showed they can mix it with the very best.

After some sterile football and underwhelming results earlier in qualifying under Fabio Capello, the Italian’s sacking paved the way for a much more exciting finish to the campaign under Slutsky.

The former CSKA Moscow coach helped Russia to four consecutive wins to book their spot in the finals. Slutsky has always been highly regarded in his homeland and the impetus the national team played with in those last four matches has left many feeling positive about their chances.
