Troyes (France) (AFP) – Relegated Ligue 1 side Troyes have appointed Jean-Louis Garcia as their new coach on a three-year contract starting next season.

Garcia will be tasked with helping the club return to the top flight after a woeful season in which last year’s Ligue 2 champions have won just three times in 37 matches.

Garcia will replace Mohamed Bradja, who took over following the dismissal of Claude Robin in February with Troyes having already sacked Jean-Marc Furlan in December.

The 53-year-old, currently in charge of fourth-tier Grenoble, has also had coaching spells at Lens, Angers and Chateauroux.
