Manchester United travel to the Hawthorns on Sunday hoping to secure a third consecutive Premier League victory at West Bromwich Albion.

Pressure has eased on Louis van Gaal after the Red Devils were able to qualify for the next round of the FA Cup and Europa League while league wins against Arsenal and Watford kept their top four hopes alive. Plus, United are now only three points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.

West Brom fought hard to secure a 2-2 draw against Leicester City last Tuesday which saw them maintain 13th spot in the table, 12 points ahead of the relegation zone.

Manager Tony Pulis has an awful record against Manchester United with only one win and one draw in 13 league games against the visitors, and he will surely want to arrest that here in an incredibly unpredictable season.

Team news

Manchester United are still without the services of 11 players coming into this match including Wayne Rooney (knee), Bastian Schweinsteiger (knee), Marouane Fellaini (hamstring) and Chris Smalling (shoulder).

Marcus Rashford may yet lead the United attack while Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Memphis Depay provide support just behind the teenager.

West Brom are also without Chris Brunt (ACL), Callum McManaman (ankle) and James Morrison (hamstring) for this game.

Pulis is not expected to make too many changes from the last game so the in-form Salomon Rondon should lead the line once again alongside Saido Berahino in a 4-4-2 setup.
