US cereal maker Kellogg’s is trying to cash in on the popularity of the Premier League in the United States by launching a new ad campaign.

The ad for Frosted Flakes features a father and daughter waking up in the early morning hours to watch a soccer match together on television. While it’s not blatantly about the Premier League, there isn’t any other soccer league in the United States that’s as popular on TV as the Premier League. Plus on the TV commentary in the background, it’s most certainly an Englishman speaking.

While Kellogg’s certainly tried to pick a shirt that wasn’t indicative of any team in England, at least the commercial is better than and more accurate than the time when Premier League soccer found its way onto the hit HBO TV show Entourage.
