FOX launches FOX Soccer 2GO free trial

FOX Sports has launched a free trial of its FOX Soccer 2GO streaming service ahead of today’s UEFA Super Cup between Barcelona and Sevilla and the start of the 2015/16 Bundesliga season.

The 7-day free trial can be started between now and the end of the month by signing up via FOX Soccer 2GO.

FOX Soccer 2GO is a online streaming service that can also be streamed to your smartphone or tablet. No TV subscription is required, so it provides cord cutters with an option to watch all 306 Bundesliga games per season as well as every UEFA Champions League match and more.

FOX Soccer 2GO typically only offers free trials once or twice a year, so if you haven’t used the service before, you may want to take advantage of it now before the free trial ends.

Nothing is perfect. FS2Go is good for cord cutters but not for those who pay for cable. Bein is terrible on mobile but works on PC. NBC/ESPN work great on mobile or desktop but you need to already be paying for cable. There’s always a caveat.

Fox, put your streaming service on Roku and I will be your customer.

Thanks but no thanks. Just need a Fox Sports Go app for Apple TV.

NBC, ESPN and beIN Sports all offer their online services for free (as long as you subscribe to their TV channel) but not Fox. Until Fox offers their streaming service for free I’ll pass. Another reason why we should be happy that NBC won the rights to the EPL and not Fox.

Fox offers ‘Fox Sports Go’ which provides free access (provided you subscribe to the channels) to live streams of Fox events, FS1, FS2 (unless your a Comcast subscriber) along with various other regional networks if you’re in a certain region.

True that Fox Sports Go is free. However, you only have access to whatever is showing on FS1 and FS2. All other games are on foxsoccer2go which requires a PAID subscription. That’s not the case with NBC, ESPN and beIN where ALL games regardless of whether they are on their TV channels or not are FREE.

Exactly…since NBC has stepped it up in the footy game it makes nearly no sense to pay $20 bucks a month to Fox. Maybe one day they will come to their senses and realize that you can’t keep charging people gobs of money for something that we can watch elsewhere.

What app are you using for beIN? I don’t think I have seen an iOS app for streaming beIN Sports.

There is an android app but the last time I tried using it it was promlematic. I’ve been watching their streaming content, called beIN Connect, on my laptop and desktop computer. No problems there.

A free trial that you need to remember to cancel after a week otherwise the bill is coming…

Still not impressed. It’s not the same watching soccer on PC or tablet vs. the TV. Fox, get FS2Go on Roku or Apple TV and I will be your customer.
