In an interesting development for cord cutters during the 2015/16 Bundesliga season, select Bundesliga games each week will be shown live on GolTV en Español. That means that fuboTV subscribers, an online streaming service that doesn’t require a TV subscription, can subscribe to the service and watch Bundesliga matches in Spanish-language without requiring a FOX Soccer 2GO subscription.
As part of the agreement, FOX Sports has sublicensed select Spanish-language rights to GolTV, while FOX Deportes will show other games.
For the opening weekend of the Bundesliga season, the schedule of games that will be shown live on GolTV en Español and fuboTV is as follows:
Saturday, August 15
Werder Bremen vs. Schalke 04, 9:30am ET, GolTV en Español and fuboTV
Borussia Dortmund vs Borussia Monchengladbach, 12:30pm ET, GolTV en Español and fuboTV
Sunday, August 16
Wolfsburg vs. Eintracht Frankfurt, 9:30am, GolTV en Español and fuboTV
For the opening weekend of the season, FOX Deportes (as of press time) is broadcasting two Bundesliga games live, while GolTV en Español is broadcasting three.
As of press time, GolTV en Español has not announced schedules for the other weeks in the season.

With fuboTV’s live access to GolTV en Español as well as beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS en Español and more, subscribers will be able to get La Liga, Serie A, select Bundesliga games, Ligue Un, Championship and more.
A subscription to fuboTV is $6.99 per month, while a subscription to FOX Soccer 2GO is $19.99 per month. However, FOX Soccer 2GO provides access to all 306 live Bundesliga games.
fuboTV’s Bundesliga coverage will appeal to some fans who want to enjoy a selection of Bundesliga games each week (see updated Bundesliga TV and Internet schedule) instead of paying $100 or more per season for FOX Soccer 2GO.

In addition to select Bundesliga games, fuboTV will carry the weekly Borussia Dortmund programmed called BVB World, which will be available to view on-demand.
fuboTV is currently offering a free 24-hour trial. Note that fuboTV’s pricing will increase to $9.99 per month beginning September 15, so sign up today to the $6.99/month plan to lock in that rate.

Awesome news! Already being a fubo subscriber I can’t wait to watch some Bundesliga on my Roku with really nice streaming quality!
I watched Bundelsiga in English last season on fubo.
The quality of streaming matches is average and there technical problems watching Copa America this Summer. But still totally worth the monthly price.
Yeah, there were a few glitches here and there, but they gave out a month free of fubo out of it which is extremely generous.
Only if you gave them your credit card number. I watched 30mins of the Columbia vs Brazil match and then switched to the Optimum app because they wanted my credit card info.
Great news. I recently replaced $10 Sling subscription (for Bein mainly) with Fubo TV for half of the price. Having some Bundesliga with it is the cherry on the top.
I would buy ‘FS 2 Go’ in a heartbeat if they release an app for Roku or Apple TV. Lack of commitment is what keeps me away.
Agreed. If FS2Go had better application access (ie. Roku/Apple TV) I’d have purchased long ago.. Alas they do not. Another thing FOX apparently needs to improve on.
No Bundesliga games on GOL TV Espanol using FuboTV. Evidently, GOLTV doesn’t own the OTT rights.
Correct.
FOX retains all U.S. Internet rights to the Bundesliga.
fuboTV, KlowdTV, etc. will all have to black out GOLTV whenever GOLTV is airing a Bundesliga match.
GOLTV’s sublicense with FOX for the Bundesliga includes U.S. SPANISH-language pay TV rights only. No Internet rights. No English-language rights. GOLTV’s English-language audio track will be IN SPANISH during Bundesliga telecasts.
GOLTV will have “1st pick” every other week. That means Bayern Munich will alternate between FOX Deportes and GOLTV.
