Newly crowned Premier League champions Chelsea face bitter rivals Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (11am ET kickoff).

Unlike their hosts who are just going through the motions as the season wraps up, the Reds have everything to play for coming into this match especially with Manchester United beating Crystal Palace in the late Saturday fixture.

The result pushed United seven points clear of Liverpool and anything short of a win at the Bridge would surely condemn Brendan Rodgers’ side to another season outside Europe’s elite.

Chelsea are, nonetheless, expected to play their best team as matches against Liverpool are always heated despite the geographical difference between the sides.

Mute the TV and listen to Rabble for a different experience

For today’s match, World Soccer Talk Radio host Nate Abaurrea and World Soccer Talk writer Amadi Tidiane will be hosting an audio broadcast online where you can listen and participate.

If you’ve grown tired of Arlo White or you want to listen to a real fan’s broadcast on Rabble instead of the announcers on TV, mute your TV and listen to Nate and Amadi on Rabble.tv (either on the web or the Rabble iOS app).

Nate is a Liverpool supporter, and Amadi is a Chelsea fan, so you can expect to hear some fireworks especially as the Blues will get a guard of honor from the Reds at Stamford Bridge.

Plus you can interact with Amadi and Nate by posting comments and asking any football-related questions you have on your mind.

Team News

There is uncertainty on the availability of Diego Costa who “wants to play” per Jose Mourinho but Loic Remy is fully fit and it is he who may replace Drogba in the Chelsea attack. The other absentees are Oscar – who is out for the rest of the season – and Ramires.

For Liverpool, Daniel Sturridge faces up to five months on the sidelines after undergoing a hip surgery meaning that Rodgers may opt to start Raheem Sterling as the spearhead of the Reds’ attack.

Mamadou Sakho is still out injured so Dejan Lovren should retain his place in the side while Alberto Moreno and Emre Can take their respective full-back positions.
