Stoke City and New Balance have officially unveiled their home and away shirts for the 2015/16 season, the first from New Balance of a multi-year partnership that Stoke initially signed with Warrior in 2014.

Previously, Stoke had worn Warrior kits, but the decision was made to change them to New Balance, which is the parent company of Warrior.

For the home kit, the signature red and white stripes of Stoke City FC has been overlaid with subtle design details which capture the club’s identity with the precision and style of New Balance. The away kit sees a re-emergence of a classic design, with a modern makeover inspired from today’s fashion trends.

The kits share a common DNA boasting a contrast collar with v-mesh insert, piping to the cuffs, and a twin needle to the hem. The home kits additional features include the traditional red and white stripes, updated by 11 tonal pinstripes incorporated within the red, signifying the strength and unity of the 11 outfield players, whilst the away kit features a reinvented cut-off sash to give a sharp, attention grabbing aesthetic.

Overall, the home and away shirts are beautifully designed. The away one, in particular, is stunning. It reminds me of something you’d expect to see in the Game of Thrones!

The New Balance 2015/16 Stoke City FC Home and Away kits are available to pre-order now at www.newbalance.com/football (US residents) and www.newbalance.co.uk/football (UK residents). Both kits will be available in store from May 23, 2015.
