Earlier tonight, Sky Sports Monday Night Football pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher discussed their selections for the Premier League Team of the Season so far.

The former Manchester United and Liverpool defenders agreed on nine of the eleven players in the team, with their only differences coming at centre-back and midfielder.

Sky Sports viewers were asked earlier in the day to break the deadlock between the the two pundits via a vote on Twitter.

Best Young Player – Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois

Best Newcomer – Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin

Most Improved Player – Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane

Best Manager – ‘Big’ Sam Allardyce, West Ham United

Jamie Carragher’s choices were:

Best Player – Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero

Best Young Player – Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea

Best Newcomer – Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin

Most Improved Player – Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson

Best Manager – Ronald Koeman, Southampton
