Despite only just entering December, the first hints of new kits for the 2015/16 season have started to emerge. Images have been leaked of some Real Madrid kit concepts and track jackets. Three kits have been released, the first in the traditional Los Blancos white with a grey away and navy third choice strip also being leaked.

Real Madrid in recent years has pushed the boundaries with their kit releases, particularly in the away department. An ever controversial florescent pink kit was introduced this year and the olive green 2012/13 kit was an interesting concept that drew plaudits and criticisms in equal measure. However, the bold approach to away and alternative strips doesn’t appear to have continued into the new season, as Madrid have opted for more conservative options, if the leak is to be believed.

Traditional Adidas stripes don the shoulders of all three kits, but are one of few details present in the new leaks. This gives a sleek and dynamic look to the home and alternative strips. However, the grey kit with green detailing leaves something to be desired. The bold green doesn’t quite fit with the simplistic, chic look of the other kits, but also doesn’t match the boldness of the recent away kits. It’s a shame that the navy kit looks to be the alternative as it will see much less use than the grey away kit as the concept seems to fit with the design of the home strip, as well as Madrid’s efficient and slick play style in recent seasons.

Of course, with kit leaks there is nothing confirmed until the official club release, but these concepts could well prove to be the official club kit designs for the 15/16 season.
