Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has responded to transfer speculation linking him with a move to London rivals Tottenham via Twitter.

The German international voiced his opinion on the social media site in response to a rumor posted on the official BBC Sport Twitter account.

BBC Sport reported on the speculation that Spurs were lining up a £10 million January bid for the Gunner’s forward, who has not seen much playing time this season. But Podolski replied to the tweet by saying: “@BBCSport @Arsenal Hell would freeze over before this transfer happened #Poldi #aha #AlwaysAGunner #NeverCheatYourClub #AFC #RedArmy”

This response comes on the heels of reports that Podolski had told Gunnners’ boss Arsene Wenger to start playing him or he would be forced to leave the Emirates in January.
