West Ham United have completed the signing of Ecuador striker Enner Valencia, subject to a successful work permit hearing.

If West Ham gets clearance to sign the player, it’ll be the fifth signing of the summer for the Hammers. Valencia has been signed on a five-year contract with West Ham paying £12million for the player who joins the club from Pachuca.

The 25-year-old striker was a revelation at World Cup 2014 where he scored three goals for Ecuador. The signing will hopefully boost West Ham United’s goals department, where the club were lacking last season.
