The 2014 World Cup in Brazil was something special, not just in the amount of goals that were scored, but the quality of soccer from almost every one of the 32 teams. To make sure we don’t forget any of the memorable moments, We assembled several of our favorite GIFS from the World Cup below.

One of the most sensational goals scored in the World Cup was from Robin van Persie, who scored from an amazing header. The Flying Dutchman meme was an overnight hit.

Tim Cahill scored arguably the best goal in the tournament when he hit the ball with one touch. The rocket rifled the ball into the back of Netherlands’ net. Although Australia lost and failed to make it out of the group stage, this goal will never be forgotten.

I am lost on how almost every similar world cup summary is failing to mention Cahill’s goal which I thought was significantly better than Van Persie.
