Well done to the US team. They were clearly the weaker side but the battled hard and really should of won it at the end of normal time.. What a great chance… The game itself was a slow burner but the last 15mins of normal time and all of extra time were exceptional and the US did brilliantly to come back into it and -again- really shouldve equalized.. I hope the US public enjoyed the game and got the bug and I’m sure its only a matter of time before they produce a World Class player or 2 … and when they do !!!!! Anyway Im glad to see all the favourites going thru as its great to see the underdogs do well but in the World Cup I want one of the best teams to win it outright

It was exciting, and I am coming around on football. Until this year, I really have never paid any attention to it, but I knew the World Cup was coming so I started watching EPL. Great suff! It will become a major sport here, of that there is no doubt.

What a game! Best game in the tournament b far.

Watching it on Bein Sports and Kevin Keegan, David Platt, Gianfranco Zola, and Peter Reid all stood and clap after the final whistle in the studio.

Like Algeria last night, well done to the US, they can leave with their heads held up high.

Solid World Cup for the U.S. … Klinsmann is obviously building for the future. Looking forward to seeing Jozy (healthy), Yedlin, Green, Bradley, Johannsson, and others evolve as a team.

Well done this time around. Had a decent run coming from the ‘Group of Death’.
