Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre has opened talks with Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to discuss renewing his contract to make him the highest paid Reds player ever.
According to The Telegraph newspaper, Ayre flew to Barcelona today for a meeting with Suarez’s agent to extend the Uruguayan’s deal and increase his salary to more than £130,000 per week.
