Michael Carrick is expected to start in midfield for England instead of Frank Lampard in the crunch match against Poland at Wembley (3pm ET on FOX Sports 1, for readers in the United States).
In training, Carrick has been playing alongside Steven Gerrard in preparation for tonight’s match.
England manager Roy Hodgson is expected to start with the same formation that played against England with a 4-2-3-1. In another change, Phil Jones is expected to start in the right back position instead of Kyle Walker.
