Video gamers rejoice! EA Sports has launched the demo for FIFA 14.

The game has already received the “Best Sports Game” award at the 2013 Gamescom conference. In the demo, you can play a match in the Camp Nou as FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Manchester City, Tottenham, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Boca Juniors, NY Red Bulls or as one of the unique demo FIFA Ultimate Teams.

    I tried the demo last night. Overall, I’m pretty impressed. FIFA 14 is slower and way more realistic compared to past versions. Little things like players waiving their arms when called offsides and occasionally players not handling the ball well on first touch make this feel more realistic. Passing is really improved too. Only negative is the version for Xbox 360 and PS3 is using the old engine and not the new one the PS4 and Xbox One are getting. I can’t wait to play FIFA 14 on the PS4.

      Agreed – played the 360 version last night. Much slower gameplay (good thing imo) and realistic moves. I thought the new “moves” like step overs are much more realistic. I also thought that the turns are much improved. When you turn in 14 the player throws his arms and legs out to protect the ball much better. Overall… great impression and looking forward to the whole thing!
