Gareth Bale Not Fit to Play 90 Minutes For Wales in World Cup Qualifying Matches: Daily Soccer Report

After being the subject of a world-record transfer fee on Sunday between Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur, Gareth Bale is with the Wales squad in preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifier matches against Serbia and Macedonia. However, Wales manager Chris Coleman says that Bale is not fit enough to play 90 minutes against Serbia or Macedonia.

Perhaps Bale, who hasn’t played a competitive match since July 17 when he scored in a Tottenham Hotspur friendly against Swindon in a 1-1 draw, will be fit to play for Real Madrid in the club’s next match, against Villarreal on September 14.

By the look of his poor attempt at keepy-ups at the Bernabeu, yeah I’d agree he isn’t fit!
He has a lot of expectations to live up to.
