On a day filled with international matches, Italy striker Mario Balotelli stole the headlines tonight with two yellow cards in four minutes while playing for Italy. But that wasn’t enough for Super Mario, as he took out his anger on the way down the player’s tunnel by punching and kicking a wall.
Here’s the video of Balotelli in action:

To be fair, that second yellow was a complete joke.
Refs are eager to give Balotelli cards because of his reputation. It’s part of what drove him out of England.

Interesting headline: “England’s play-off hopes suffer setback after Ukraine beat Montenegro.” It is true in this sense: England has become more likely to WIN THE GROUP than was the case before Montenegro’s loss.

Just watched the video, in no way both offences deserved a yellow.

The article about Arshavin describes Mata as floating around the pitch like a ‘lovable cartoon seahorse’.
Now THAT’S journalism. (Seriously though I loved that).
