Norwich City will play three friendlies in the United States this summer as part of their pre-season tour.

The Canaries will be joining Chelsea, Manchester City and Stoke City who have already announced pre-season matches in the United States this summer.

Chris Hughton’s side will fly to California on July 15. On July 18, they’ll play against Sac Pro Soccer in Sacramento. Norwich will be part of a special Sacramento Soccer Day, which is being held to mark the new club’s foundation.

On Saturday, July 20 Norwich City will play against San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium.

The final match of the US tour will feature Norwich City against Portland Timbers at Jeld Wen Field on Wednesday, July 24.

Norwich will then return to England on July 26.

“The games will provide an important part of our pre-season build-up for the 2013-14 domestic campaign and of course it’s a great opportunity for the Club to engage with football fans in the United States,” said Hughton.

Ticket pre-sales for Sacramento Soccer Day will take place May 20 through 27, 2013 and sales to the general public will begin on May 28, 2013. Prices begin at $18 per person and increase up to $35 per person. More details are at the Sac Pro Soccer website.
