Now that Everton’s deal for FC Twente striker Leroy Fer has fallen through due to medical issues, Everton are on the verge of signing Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo from Sevilla. If the Toffees will be able to secure his signature, it’ll be a massive coup and a wonderful addition to the Premier League.

If they pull this off then Everton will finish 4th. Negredo is a terrific striker who can score with both feet and head. Could be the best signing in this window.
