How about England pull off a Greece 2004? they need a bring striker up front like Crouch or Heskey to hold the ball up and disrupt the rhythm of the other team. their best chance of scoring will be from set pieces.

I think Portugal can do some damage, however Ronaldo and Portugal will never have another opportunity like they had in 2004 at home against Greece, that was the biggest choke in sports history.

I give Portugal a slight chance, only problem for them is they open with Germany (which I suspect they will lose) and teams who lose their opening match generally don’t get out of the groups. But I am not as high on Netherlands as most people are.

Well, he finally got that Barca weight off his back this year. If he can have success this summer on an international level (something Messi hasn’t done with Argentina), then he’s probably right.

Just getting out of that group would be massive. I can’t see it, though. Germany and Holland are just too good right now.
