Newcastle United Home Shirt For 2012-13 Season: Leaked Photo

A photo of Newcastle United’s home shirt for the 2012-13 season has been leaked on the Internet.

Newcastle United only just changed their sponsor a few weeks ago, so Puma obviously hasn’t had time to update the sponsor’s name on the front of the shirt. However, when updated, I like this shirt a lot. It’s a return to the classic black and white stripes instead of the awful thick stripes the team has been wearing this season. The collar on the new Newcastle United home shirt for 2012-13 looks interesting, and the gold Puma logo fits in well.

Hopefully more photos will be revealed soon, but I like what I see so far.

What do you think of the new shirt design? Share your opinions in the comments section below.

Dont see the point with the 3rd one when it is the same as the home colours should be blue, orange or something

Until we get Newcastle Brown Ale as a sponsor I will never buy another Newcastle shirt!!!

Only joking, but I seriously love and miss that shirt. Ah, memories of Shearer in that legendary shirt 😀

2nd one has gotta be the goalkeeper shirt, it matches the current one pretty close

I agree it looks similar to the current GK jersey, but I can’t imagine they’ll keep that the same. Plus this has short sleeves, so I think there’s a good chance this might be the change strip.

Looks good! Saves me money not having to go buy the new home kit. Looks pretty much the same the past few years [aside from this years of course]. The half black and half white looks ok. It kinda looks like what a court jester might wear.

It could be worse though. It could look like Sunderlands!

Or even worse, it could be the current Adidas stripe kit.

Like the article says, they haven’t had a chance to update the sponsor’s name yet.

I really like this years shirt. The alleged new one is nice too. Bit of a weird collar though.
