Magath Has Revealed That A Move To England Would Suit Him In The Future.

Schalke’s Felix Magath, who has emerged as one of the leading football managers in the Bundesliga and Europe after great success with Stuttgart, Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg. Seemingly, Magath has achieved all he really can in Germany, and has hinted that he would like to try his hand at an English side.

Magath spoke to the press and said:

“I’ve always wanted to go abroad and to work in another big league – but you know how it is. One thing is what you want to do – another is making it happen. English is the only foreign language I’ve learned so I think clubs in Italy or Spain might think twice before think a manager like me. So I think right now – the English league would be the option for me.”

Last season, Schalke were Bayern Munich’s closest threat for the Bundesliga title, and after strengthening with players like Raul, Christoph Metzelder, and Sergio Escudero just to name a few. Schalke will look to snatch the title from Bayern Munich this year, and should Magath achieve that target, he may take a move to England more seriously.

Magath’s CV includes three Bundesliga titles and three Bundesliga cup titles, as well as an Intertoto cup title. Magath has also been tipped to take over the German national team in the past, and will remain a contender for the position should Loew step down.
