Here’s your chance to cast your vote for who you think has been the best EPL club blog during the 2009-10 season in the EPL (English Premier League) Awards.
Only one vote per person. The voting closes on Saturday, May 15, 2010. The winner of each EPL Awards category will be announced on EPL Talk on Monday, May 17.
This is the second annual EPL Awards, which is hosted by EPL Talk, the number one Premier League blog in the world. - Best and Worst EPL Players, Teams and Managers
- Best EPL TV, Radio and Podcast Coverage
- Best EPL Blogs, Websites and Books
And see who the winners were in the 2009 EPL Awards!
The best by far. Purely because they think the same way I do (well 95% of the time). Other Arsenal website are a bit too wimpish….
By far the best fan blog of all time http://therepublikofmancunia.com/ the rest will just follow while united lead again Glory Glory M.U.F.C.
Come on RoM lets win it!
RoM is the best blog and it’s a fact!
For me Republic of Mancunia is the Best of them all
Gotta go with ROM here. Check out my site if you’ve got a moment or two… http://www.unitedordeath.com
ROM rules the football blogging World
defo a cultured left foot… well balanced passion, praise and criticism for all things arsenal whether in win, draw or loss
RoM is far the best EPL blog
RoM is the best EPL blog.
RoM by far the best blog out there, spot on posts , great author , and great views. =)
ROM is the best. Its analytical and well researched
RoM by far ftw
ROM all the way….
Ubfortunately I would like to see the option of being able to take a vote away rather than vote for a particular blog. I only have experience of Rebublic of Mancunia and I have been banned, Not for swearing, threats or anything of that nature but because I don’t agree with the masses about United fans being the best, the Glazers are leaches and the like. The blog republik of mancunia is just a dictator ship of thought, a big brother, the opinions are censored if they dont agree with the green and gold campaign.
If you want to “take away” a vote from RoM, just vote for a different blog.
Cheers,
The Gaffer
As a liverpool supporter there is no bias at all when i vote for arseblog. A brilliant blog along with weekly podcasts that tell things how they are. Great author, thousands of readers and keep you up to date with everything going on in the world of arsenal football club. Not to mention its funny!
GoatinaUnitedShirt – ive just seen you leave a comment on the rom blog, so how can you be banned from there? as for it being a dictatorship, there are loads of people who arent anti-glazer, as well as liverpool, city and god knows who else fans postin on there.
although it baffles me why any utd fan wouldnt want glazer out… probably one that doesnt have to pay for tickets very often 😉 id still expect a red to hate glazer from their armchair though!

My message on here was posted before RoM decided to post my message on their board, who knows maybe they don’t like the bad press and tried to do something about it. I have tried to post for the last few days on RoM not getting the chance to talk to friend made before and after the city game. I got banned for posting an article that critised United fans from Manchester. It was aimed at fans who have absolutely no regard for non manchester based fans, a bit like your comment. You expect United to be a massive club just from the support of fans from Manchester, whine all the time about them. Other clubs fans thought it funny that United fans were from everywhere, what did the United fans do, show a United front or turn against the non manchester fans. The opinion of fans from other clubs seem to matter more to the identity of mancs than the loyalty of their own club and supporters wherever they’re from. All teams have a far reaching fan base, the only exception is that Manchester based Manchester United fans hate outsiders. And thats where Glazer hate stems from, hate of Yanks. We are not a 200million pound club ala Liverpool, Chelsea (when they were bought), Arsenal (not sure of true value) we are a billion pound club and no one person can buy us without taking loans out, there is no savour and the red knights are just as bad. The only reason they are excepted is because they aren’t yanks, outsider, non-mancs.
To the Gaffer, I don’t read that many blogs so its difficult for me to vote for another teams blog and this would be unfair. If I wanted a blog to have a vote taken away it is the equivalent of voting for all the other teams and i can only vote for one. Cheers anyway.
Arseblog is the best by a country mile, and the arsecast is comedy genius. The rest are just rip offs
Thisisanfield (TIA) by several country miles!
I’ve read many blogs but no football blogger is as funny and articulate as Arseblogger. The best there is, by a country mile.
RoM is just like a news outlet more of and there are hundreds of them. The writing isn’t original, funny or anything special. Just because its the most popular United blog doesn’t mean its good.
Just try reading a post from arseblog and compare it with RoM. The latest post for example from RoM is just a link spam post, just like the majority of their posts. Better to check out newsnow than read that innit? Its like trying to compare one of Tolkien’s books with Twilight. There is such a huge difference between the quality of writing that it’s laughable.
For me, its Arsenal FC Blog, followed by Arseblog. RoM is just a link farm.
A link farm.. with an exclusive interview with Nani…?
RoM is great because it combines up to date news, videos, interviews with analytical and interesting pieces.

This Is Anfield for me, brilliant for up to date articles from all round the web, great blogs, sensible and varied discussions. Very well laid out too.
RoM is the best EPL blog by far. The “spam” link those Arse fans are complaining about is a good way of knowing what else is going on, because some readers dont have the time to waste on News Now to try and distinguish the difference between rubbish and genuine facts. It also gives the chance of some of the readers to post a link for others to see. I think its a useful post. On ROM there’s more variety. There’s the View from the enemy post, Exclusive interviews, Articles aimed as a wind up to other teams fans, Even Just for fun posts. RoM keeps many United fans who dont have enough time to roam around random sites to get their daily dose about United. Its friendly and up to date.
Well, I would have said This Is Anfield about 6 months ago, but it turns out that it’s modded mainly by a bunch of small minded ego maniacs who would rather all contributors talk about how great Rafa Benitez is. Forum you say? BORE ‘EM more like
Arseblog rules the roost. it’s a hilarious one man blogging genius. and he throws in a near professional podcast every week, complete with fake voices and interviews with other bloggers, reporters and the like.
haven’t read Rom, but it sounds a bit boring if you might.
Arseblog by far. Charming, funny, humbling…and brutally honest.
