Atlético Madrid defender Luis Amaranto Perea was called up to take part in next week’s friendly against Haiti in the Colombian city of Pereira.

Perea was one of two Spanish league based players that was called up by by coach Eduardo Lara for this friendly.   The other was Hercules’ midfielder Abel Aguilar.

The biggest surprise of the callup was that of Wigan forward Hugo Rodallega who was absent from the national team ever since Jorge Luis Pinto was sacked last October by the Colombia FA.
