The news that Los Maños got after their 2-0 loss to Real Madrid Sunday was probably just as hard to swallow. Argentine midfielder Pablo Aimar will have to undergo surgery after suffering from a chronic sports hernia that he has been dealing with since the end of last season.
Aimar was looked at in Madrid y Dr. Pedro Guillén and team physician Jesús Villanueva where the decision was made soon thereafter.
According to early reports, he will be out between 3-5 months which is the equivalent to the rest of the season for him.
