N.Y.Evens (EPL Talk Review Podcast)

Happy New Year! Of course, new things come with the new year: right? Well, for some sides this was true. For others, the home comforts and sitting on the couch in front of the TV was too tempting to make them get up and actually bother at the football. We joke, of course. Some great games to start 2014. Where to start?

United getting beat? Manchester and Newcastle. The top three making some daylight between them and 4th. Spurs, with a good away win. Let’s Talk Soccer, World:

  1. Kenny says:

I just had a question. I saw this interesting stat:
    Spurs under AVB:
    7 goals in 16 matches.
    Spurs under Tim Sherwood:
    10 goals in 4 matches.

Besides the formation difference between AVB and Sherwood, what is the major difference that is allowing Spurs to score so many more goals? Is it really just all on Adebayor and the majority’s view of an inadequacy when it comes to Adebayor?
