  1. Last year was the first season that I gave Ultimate Team a try. Due to time constraints I didn’t play much of the seasons mode.

I would say that if you want to spend money to buy packs that is certainly an option, but one that I did not take. It is still quite possible to build a quality team that can win without having to go out and get the very best players and spend a fortune.

I’m not the best FIFA player out there, but I really enjoyed Ultimate Team because it gave me the chance to actually build a team and play against other players rather than picking up an already built Bayern, Real or Barca.

I would highly recommend Ultimate Team to any FIFA player out there that enjoys the tactical side of the game. It will take more time to build your team and look for the right players you want, but it also has it’s own rewards. If it seems daunting at first, try out the single player season and single player tournaments to get some coins.
You should also be signing in daily to the FUT app online to pick up free rewards including packs and coins.

    Good luck!

  2. I think this is a great feature you guys are doing. Playing FIFA is as much a part of my passion for the sport as watching and attending matches are. Cheers guys.

  3. Just wondering if FIFA paid you anything for this review lads as 9.5/10 seems ridiculous especially as the FIFA Community generally seem to think this is quite possibly the worst game in the last 5 years. Go onto the FIFA forums and read some of the comments there. 95% of them are really negative. I know you get those comments every year but this year its especially bad. Far far worse than in other years. Funny thing is tho that you cannot find one bad review of it anywhere except on the forums… 9.5 out of 10 and so anti PES too and still no review on PES either mmnnn I smell a rat ….

    1. EA Sports didn’t pay for the review. The review was their honest opinions. In the meantime, we’re still waiting on Konami to send us a review copy of PES 2014, but we hope to get review copies in the hands of Matt and Morgan in the next week or two.
