Back! Top Four (EPL Talk Preview Podcast)

The EPL Talk podcast slides back onto the scene and into your feed with a smooth transition from summer lovin’ to season looming. With the 2012-13 season looming, there are 20 teams to discuss in the Premier League. We discuss them ALL over four special podcasts, the first: Top Four last season.

Everyone is writing, tweeting and subscribing to it, but there is one thing that we want to do: talk about it. As a team, we want to include opinion from people who enjoy the game and have a view to share. If you want to join then conversation then get involved with the EPL Talk podcast. Comment, tweet and make the conversation better for all of us.

City and United duked it out for the title last season, but looking forward there are some legitimate title contenders within the top four. It seems that sustaining a challenge is the biggest hill to climb, can anyone with a team capable of winning the title do it this season or is there more to it? Clearly there is more, but what more does it take and how will this season be decided? We start on the road to the season with: Preview one of four! Join us, in your ears.

finally!! haven’t listened to it…will do later today. Hope Kartik fixed his phone issues.

    • The Gaffer says:

Kartik will only be on the show when he has a good WiFi connection, so he may not be on as much if he’s in transit, but the sound quality will be better.

      Cheers,
      The Gaffer

  2. Steve says:

I don’t know why you all refuse to call a spade a spade when it comes to RVP saga. So you guys want me to believe that it wasn’t money and Rooney wanted to bolt United because he didn’t think the team was a title contender ? Come on guys! RVP realize he is at his last major contract year and he wants to be paid. There is nothing wrong with that, just don’t sugarcoat it with this ” he wants to win trophies” crap.

  3. nicc says:

is there any way to get transcripts of these podcasts?

    • The Gaffer says:

Nicc, I’ve looked into this in the past, but the only transcription services I find are paid ones. And since the podcast is free, it’s not cost-effective for me to have transcripts done.

      Cheers,
      The Gaffer

  4. Christian says:

The pod was great guys. Welcome back and cheers.

  5. Mike says:

The man ostensibly purporting to be a Manchester City player – using the personal pronoun “we” in related matters – would be more convincing and respectable with a slight adjustment. Hardly a pedantic request because the premise here is objective expertise. First listen; good enough to bring me back for the second instalment.

    • Matt Duncan says:

      Mike,

Thanks for giving us a go, glad you thought it was worth another one. I would be interested to hear what you have to say about the pod so far if you get a chance. My email is matt@epltalk.com.
