FOX Sports will broadcast their very first Liga MX game in English this Saturday night when Club Tijuana meets Chivas de Guadalajara in a game that will be shown live across FS1. As first reported by World Soccer Talk in May, FOX Sports acquired the English-language and Spanish-language rights to the Club Tijuana home games in Liga MX and Copa MX. FOX Sports has announced that it has acquired the Spanish-language and English-language rights to Club Tijuana home games in Liga MX and Copa MX. Both FOX Sports and FOX Deportes will begin broadcasting games featuring Xolos starting this summer. Chivas dropped by Univision from summer 2019 onwards, says source

Liga MX club Chivas will no longer be televised on Univision after the summer of 2019 when the current TV deal ends, according to a source that’s close to the deal. The news came as a surprise to CD Guadalajara. Univision Deportes delivered a massive viewing number for Saturday night’s Superclásico between Chivas and América on Spanish-language television in the United States. The high-stakes matchup between América and Guadalajara averaged 2.5 million viewers on the Univision Network, with simulcast on Univision Deportes Network, and was the top-rated soccer event on any network year-to-date, regardless of language.
