ESPN3 to stream League One matches to viewers in United States this weekend

With no Championship matches scheduled this weekend due to the international break, ESPN3 has decided to stream several matches from League One instead. It’s incredibly rare for viewers in the United States to see any matches from League One (unless you subscribe to iFollow), so to have three available from the third tier of English football will be a treat. The 2016/17 League One playoffs will be streamed live on beIN SPORTS Connect. That means that supporters of Millwall, Bradford City, Fleetwood Town and Scunthorpe United will be able to watch the crucial games live from the United States. Massimo Cellino Disqualified From Owning Leeds United Football Club

The Football League have this morning announced that Leeds United’s flamboyant Italian owner Massimo Cellino has been disqualified from owning the Yorkshire club due to falling short of the expectations set out within the League’s much discussed ‘Owners’ and Directors’ Test’. The 58-year-old Italian had actually been denied initial permission to take over the club in April only for an appeal to see the block removed.
