Final two Bundesliga matchdays to be featured on FS2 with MultiMatch 90

The final two matchdays of the 2016/17 Bundesliga season will be featured live on FOX Sports 2. All of the games will be included in the MultiMatch 90 whiparound show, which will be hosted by Ross Dyer. If you haven’t watched MultiMatch 90 before on FOX Soccer Plus or FOX Soccer 2GO, the way it works is that Dyer will start broadcasting one of the Bundesliga matches but will then switch coverage back and forth between any of the nine Bundesliga matches that are being played from 9:30-11:30am. Sling Multistream adds FS2 to its FOX, FS1 and FX package

Sling TV has added FOX Sports 2 to its long list of channels that are available on its Sling Multistream package. For soccer fans, that means that subscribers can now choose from programming available from the FOX broadcasting network, FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2 and FX. Previously, FS2 wasn’t available in the package. But now that Sling Multistream offers FOX, FS1, FS2 and FX, the legal streaming service offers the majority of FOX’s soccer coverage. Review of FOX’s Women’s World Cup coverage

FOX’s first major tournament of its 12-year TV deal with FIFA has ended with a bang for the network. In its month-long coverage of the Women’s World Cup, FOX broke TV records and put on first-class coverage that will go a long way to giving soccer fans confidence that FOX knows soccer. There’s still room for improvement, but overall FOX surprised many, myself included, by how well they did. FOX announces broadcaster line-up for Women’s World Cup quarterfinals

FOX Sports has released the line-up of broadcasters that will be calling the quarterfinal matches of the 2015 Women’s World Cup. JP Dellacamera, Tony DiCicco and Cat Whitehill will continue to call the U.S. Women’s National team matches for the tournament when the USWNT take on China in a rematch of the 1999 World Cup final that gave the United States their second World Cup title. 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup schedule for US TV and Internet: May 29 to June 20

This weekend the United States kicks off its participation in the FIFA U-20 World Cup.  Featuring rising stars like Gedion Zelalem of the U.S. and Andreas Pereira of Brazil, this tournament can be a stage for players’ Q ratings to skyrocket. Report Card for FOX Sports’ MultiMatch 90 Soccer Coverage

Now that the Group Stage of the UEFA Champions League is over until the Knockout Round kicks off in February, it’s perfect timing to give a report card for FOX’s new soccer TV experience called MultiMatch 90, which was quietly debuted in September. FOX Sports Sublicenses Select UEFA Champions League Playoff Games to ESPN

In soccer TV and Internet rights news, FOX Sports has sublicensed select UEFA Champions League matches to ESPN Deportes and ESPN3.com for the matches scheduled next week. The playoff games will be split between FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN3.com, FOX regional sports networks, FOX Soccer Plus, FOX Soccer 2GO and FOX Sports Go. The most significant development is the inclusion of ESPN3.com. This means that soccer fans without DirecTV and their overflow channels, which show the matches not on the main FOX channels (and now ESPN Deportes), will have access to these matches. The broadcast of the FA Cup 5th Round game between Arsenal against Liverpool, which was televised live on FOX Sports 2 on Sunday, February 16, set a record this week for the most-watched program on FOX Sports 2 since its launch in August, 2013. The match was shown live on US television on Sunday morning, featuring two of the most historic teams in English football.
