The month of July is filled with international soccer games throughout the United States to determine who will be the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup winner. Those nations participating include the United States, Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Canada and others. The tournament kicks off on July 7 and runs through July 26. Mexico, Jamaica drawn together in Gold Cup

San Francisco (AFP) – Jamaica will get the chance to avenge their 2015 Gold Cup final defeat to Mexico after being drawn Tuesday in the same group as the holders for this year’s edition. The Jamaicans were surprise finalists at the last tournament, upsetting the United States 2-1 in the semi-finals before eventually losing 3-1 to Mexico in the final. CONCACAF releases portion of Gold Cup schedule

Los Angeles (AFP) – The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced on Monday that it has selected four first-time hosts among its 14 venues to stage the 2017 Gold Cup tournament. FOX Sports has acquired the English-language TV rights to the 2017 and 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournaments, the network announced today.
