Liverpool’s late 3-2 win against Paris Saint-Germain in Tuesday’s exciting Champions League match averaged more than one million viewers in the United States across Univision, Univision Deportes Network and TNT.

In fact, the Liverpool-PSG viewing number was the most-viewed Group Stage telecast in the U.S. in the history of the UEFA Champions League, regardless of language. Airing in the 2:51pm ET timeslot on Univision and Univision Deportes Network, the Spanish-language broadcast averaged 672,000 viewers. At the same time, the game averaged 330,000 viewers on TNT for a combined total of 1,002,000 viewers.

Earlier on Tuesday, Barcelona’s 4-0 drubbing of PSV Eindhoven averaged 618,000 viewers on Univision and UDN, while the game averaged only 164,000 viewers on TNT. Combined, the game averaged 782,000 viewers.

For the two games combined, Univision Deportes had 1.29 million viewers compared to TNT’s 494,000 that tuned in to the matches.
