The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be available in 4K HDR through DIRECTV so you can watch the Beautiful Game with lifelike picture quality, richer colors and four times the resolution of HD.

DIRECTV’s 4K HDR channels for the World Cup will be channel numbers 105 and 106.

To watch the World Cup in 4K HDR through DIRECTV, you’ll need:

• A subscription of the SELECT package or higher to DIRECTV,
• A compatible 4K HDR receiver such as Genie,
• Professional installation is required.

For soccer fans interested in signing up for DIRECTV, the satellite TV provider is currently offering a special for new customers starting at $35/month for the first year, which includes up to $200 in AT&T Visa Rewards Cards.

Hisense is also offering World Cup games in 4K HDR through the later models of their TVs plus the FOX Sports World Cup app that’s been especially developed for Hisense.
