Arsene Wenger has spent the last few years laughing in the face of the names that have been mentioned in connection with his long held job. There have been many thrown around that make most people laugh. Owen Coyle was one suggested as was Brendan Rodgers, Mark Hughes was supposedly a candidate, as even, was Pep Guardiola. Every time though, Wenger clinged onto power with impressive resilience and calmness.

He has always been a graceful and dignified presence who has worked hard to end the season with something to show for it and a marker that he might still have the ability to win bigger prizes. For many years it has been the FA Cup, however, right now he is working on a European competition, the Europa League, to save his bacon.

He always seems to be able to pull a rabbit out of his hat to find something to keep the sack, or more likely in his case the ‘mutually agreed departure’ from becoming a reality. One thing his amazing ability to cling to his job has done is make fools of people who have placed bets on his replacement.

So much money was wasted on Rodgers or Coyle or another flavour of the month who people thought sure were going to take over from the Frenchman. Now though might be the perfect time to have a flutter on his replacement especially with the help of http:\/\/www.freebets.co.uk/ who have a great number of different free bet offers to take advantage of. That means that, if you do put a bet on him to be replaced and he somehow is not, then you will not have risked any money on the bet, it is no risk and potentially a high reward. Here are two candidates who could well be worth you free bet.

Leonardo Jardim

The Monaco coach is, according to metro.co.uk, one of the leading candidates to replace Wenger and is also ready and willing to do so. He has done a very good job at Monaco by creating a side who, first were very defensively sound, before then adding attacking flair which managed to take them to a Champions League semi-final and the French title. He is great working on a budget and working with young players. He would be the best choice but perhaps not the most likely one. He is though clearly ready to leave Monaco a side he has taken as far as they can go.

Joachim Low

After winning the World Cup with Germany, and getting them to play top quality football, Low will be able to have his pick of jobs after this summer’s world cup, if he chooses to leave the German national team that is. He would bring order, organisation and discipline to North London which is something they have been lacking. He may well also get the best out of Mesut Ozil, a player Arsenal have poured money into but who seems to struggle to get his best out in every game, something Low has managed when Ozil plays for Germany. A more likely bet than Jardim I think.
