The 2017 MLS Conference Semi-Final second leg’s averaged 262,500 viewers, up 10% from an average of 238,750 viewers for the first leg matches and up 20% from 219,250 for the 2016’s Conference semi-final second legs. Overall MLS Cup Playoff viewership is up around 13% from 2016 and up just 584 viewers from an average of 266,833 in 2015.

For the third consecutive week, Club América’s Liga MX game on Univision was the most-watched soccer game in the United States, last week drawing 1.14 million viewers as they took on Puebla. For Univision, it was also their fourth consecutive week with a single broadcast drawing over 1 million viewers.

On NBC, Liverpool’s 4-1 win against West Ham United drew 676,000 viewers, a slight decrease from 710,000 viewers for last week’s late Saturday kickoff featuring Chelsea and Bournemouth. Sunday proved to be the most popular day for viewership last week with a couple of high profile matches starting with Manchester City’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal which drew 642,000 viewers on NBCSN followed by 782,000 tuning in for Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat of Mourinho’s Manchester United. Both matches managed to outdraw the previous Sunday’s match between Leicester City and Everton on NBC.
