Saturday’s broadcast of the 2016/17 FA Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea on the FOX network and FOX Deportes averaged 984,000 viewers combined across both networks.

Out of the 984,000 viewers, 836,000 watched Chelsea-Arsenal on the English-language FOX network, while the remaining 148,000 watched it on the Spanish-language FOX Deportes.

Compared to last year’s FA Cup final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace, the viewership on the FOX network was down 17% from the 1,018,000 that watched the game.

In the 2016/17 final, Arsenal defeated Chelsea 2-1 in regulation time to win the trophy for the 13th time, making the Gunners the most-successful club ever in the 146-year competition.

Arsenal won its third FA Cup in four years when it battled Chelsea at Wembley Stadium (the broadcast began at 12:00 PM ET on FOX). Kate Abdo anchored pre- and postgame studio coverage alongside Warren Barton, Mario Melchiot and Eric Wynalda. FOX Deportes’ coverage began at 11:00 AM ET with a special edition of FOX DEPORTES EN VIVO hosted by Ariel Torrone and Alvaro Izquierdo.
